Our story began in 1970, when my grandfather, Frank Pain, founded the company in the heart of Leicestershire – long known as the sock manufacturing capital of the UK. Frank was a pioneer in the hosiery industry, creating high-quality socks and tights with a dedication to craftsmanship and innovation.
Built on Partnerships
Since 2008, while our UK manufacturing has ceased, we’ve built a strong global network of ethically-driven, technically advanced partners. These partnerships allow us to design and produce a wide range of premium socks and tights without compromising our values.
At Jemsox, sustainability is at the core of what we do. We proudly use eco-friendly materials such as carbon-zero lyocell, organic cotton, and upcycled yarns—offering products that are not only comfortable and durable, but kind to the planet.
